TechLit: Caltech's Creative Writing Group

Are you planning to write the next Pulitzer-prize-winning novel, if only you can find the time? Join TechLit, Caltech's creative writing group, where graduate and undergraduate students who enjoy creative writing can come together to work on and improve their awesome short stories, poems, memoirs, or novels. Pizza and soft drinks will be provided to fuel the creative process.

First Saturday of each month from 5-8 PM in Sherman-Fairchild Library (SFL) room 326 (or via Zoom at 6:30 PM during the 'stay at home' order)

A typical TechLit meeting is structured as follows:

  • 15 minutes of eating and socializing.
  • Free writing time for members to work on their current creative projects.
  • Members discuss each other's work, which they have read beforehand and marked with suggestions for improvement.

Don't forget to bring a laptop or pen + paper to write with! E-mail us at techlit-info@caltech.edu if you have any questions. Hope to see you there!
